Welcome Event

Let’s kick off our wedding celebrations with a welcome event at Baines Restaurant. Set on the shores overlooking the majestic Zambezi River, you’ll hear the thunderous roar of the Victoria Falls in the background as we begin the weekends festivities.

Getting There: Please can you arrange your own transport to and from Baine’s Restaurant through your hotel concierge.

Join us at The Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel for our wedding ceremony. The reception will begin straight afterwards with a feast of delicious food, sunset drinks and an evening of dancing.

Old Ursula’s Road, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Dress Code: Semi-formal
Getting There: Collection and return shuttles will be arranged. A shuttle schedule will be sent closer to the time.

All the festivities will take place at The Stanley and Livingstone Boutique Hotel.
Transport: Shuttles will be arranged from various locations and will be communicated closer to the time.
Time: Arrive at 15:00 to enjoy a refreshment before being seated by 15:15
Dress code: Semi-formal
A slightly less formal variation of a “formal dress code”, semi-formal is the perfect balance between fancy and comfort. For men, this may mean a tailored suit with/without a tie, while women might opt for a chic cocktail dress or an elegant gown. Semi-formal wear allows individuals to express their unique style sensibilities while adhering to a level of formality that adds a touch of grandeur to the ensemble. The main rule here is to look polished, but have fun with it. Bold colours and statement jewelry/accessories are encouraged!
Majority of the wedding will be on grass, if you can wear block heels that would be best.
